  12.   1/3 c. sugar                                                       
  13.   2 tbsp. butter, softened                                           
  14.   1/4 c. flour                                                       
  15.   1/2 c. chopped dates                                               
  16.   1/4 c. instant nonfat dry milk

  18.   Batter                                                             
  19.                                                                      
  20.   2 c. flour                                                         
  21.   1 tbsp. baking powder                                              
  22.   2/3 c. water                                                       
  23.   1/3 c. melted butter                                               
  24.   1 egg                                                              
  25.   2/3 c. sugar                                                       
  26.   1.3 cup instant nonfat dry milk

  28.   Blend sugar and butter together.  Mix in nonfat dry milk, flour, and
  29.   chopped dates until mixture is crmbly, set aside.  Sift together
  30.   flour, baking powder and sugar.  Mix in nonfat dry milk.  Stir in
  31.   water, egg and butter until well blended.  Bake 25 minutes in 350
  32.   degree oven.  Makes 12 muffins.
